Nano Aviation India Pvt Ltd., NAPL in short, was established in the year 2013.
The foundation was laid by Mr. Pandian S, equipped with his vast experience gained in the leading airlines of yesteryears ‘Air Deccan’ and ‘Kingfisher airlines’, who continues to be the current MD and the CEO of the company.
NAPL is a DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) approved CAR 145 MRO (Maintenance Repair organization), making it one among the limited companies serving the MRO space of the Indian Aviation market.
NAPL is a privately owned MRO in India and has its own place among the elite line-up of Indian MROs.

NAPL acquired the BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) clearance in the year 2016 and subsequently got the CAR 145 approval from DGCA, making it a company authorised to carry out maintenance activity in all of the Indian Airports. Being a CAR 145 Organization, NAPL is approved to carry out MRO activities such as Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and inspection of aircraft to ensure safety and airworthiness of aircraft as per laid down Aviation regulatory standards.
Since its establishment in the year 2013, the company has steadily grown in terms of Infrastructure and approval, making it a highly competitive company in the MRO market. The company got its first full-scope approval in the year 2017 to service Cessna 152 and 172 types of aircraft. Since then NAPL has obtained multiple approvals on ATR 72, BOEING 737, and AIRBUS 320 family of aircraft.
NAPL has 60 employees and around 50 contract staff at present, stationed in Chennai and around India, making it capable of carrying out MRO activities and render support services to its customers in all the airports across India. NAPL has been offering MRO services to various airlines and NSOP operators over a period of nine years. NAPL is fully equipped with the Tools and Equipment required to carry out the tasks and an experienced team of AMEs to carry out maintenance and servicing of ATR-72, Boeing 737, Airbus 320 family of aircraft in addition to Base maintenance checks of Cessna-152/172 aircraft.
